One-on-one Pilates
One-on-onePilates Overview
Our one-on-one Pilates takes into account an individual’s specific injuries and physical needs, instead of having multiple individuals complete the same program.
If you have a specific injury or condition some Pilates exercises may not be suitable for you. The key components of Pilates are quite subtle and it is very easy to use the wrong muscles and not do the exercises properly.
Joining a group setting can be confusing for some people if you have never tried Pilates before and could even aggravate symptoms or conditions. A one-on-one session is tailored for you and your specific level and requirements. During a one-on-one Pilates session you will be introduced to and use a range of Pilates equipment including the reformer, split pedal chair, ladder barrel and trapeze. There are multiple benefits to be gained from a one-on-one session including improvements in posture, flexibility, muscle strength, control, balance and core and pelvic floor strengthening.
Many clients go on to join group classes once they are familiar with the Pilates concept and have achieved a safe level of competency.
- Group Size: Max 1 Client
